Astro Tulip Floral is run by owner Catya Bastien, a Hudson Valley based floral designer. With a background in fine art drawing and printmaking, Catya found her passion for floral design in 2018. She spent several years managing top floral studios in Austin, TX acquiring a strong foundation in traditional garden style floral design. She is committed to the basics of proper floral care and conditioning to ensure maximum quality and freshness.

Upon returning to her home state of New York, she has continued to pursue her love for florals, bringing her artistic eye and appreciation for art and art history to every arrangement and bouquet. Catya is passionate about creating artistic, mindfully crafted arrangements celebrating the joy and whimsy of seasonal blooms.
